Policy Program | Conference on Artificial Intelligence – "Humanity Disrupted: Artificial Intelligence and Changing Societies"
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning are transforming models of economics, politics, security and ethics. Society is just catching up. The Aspen Germany AI-Conference will bring together policy-makers, business leaders, innovators, economists, philosophers, religious leaders, civil society and security experts from Europe and the United States to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with machine learning and artificial intelligence. This conference will address four separate but interrelated dimensions of AI: its economic impact; questions of ethics and democracy; aspects of security and safety; and anticipated future challenges of artificial general intelligence. The day-and-a-half long conference will include discussions featuring a diverse group of stakeholders from both sides of the Atlantic as well as smaller focused break-out sessions, which will facilitate more in-depth debate and discussion on specific aspects of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
