The first project year will feature an international cohort of 18 influencers and content creators from Central and Eastern Europe, Germany, and the United States. Through a series of online workshops and study trips to Berlin and Bucharest, the participants will dive deeply into the multi-facetted challenges and pressures the online information environment finds itself under. Through a structured role-play of an EU crisis meeting in response to a fictional election integrity attack, the participants will get to know the different stakeholders firsthand and will have to grapple with the difficulty of formulating a coordinated reaction.
Applications to join the first project year are now officially open. We are looking for dedicated influencers and content creators who bring their uniqueness to the table. The project will include participants from diverse backgrounds with a varying knowledge of disinformation and different thematic backgrounds. If you are an influencer or content creator from Central and Eastern Europe, Germany, and the United States we warmly encourage you to apply via this link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/z0P3hCwfEr
The project is funded by the Federal Foreign Office and supported by the Aspen Institute Central Europe, the Aspen Institute Romania and the Aspen Institute Kyiv.
