On March 19, 2026, participants from the “Solidarity in Action” cohort attended an advocacy meeting with Amer Kapetanovic, Secretary General, Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). The meeting provided a valuable platform for participants to present and discuss their policy recommendations with the head of a regional platform and to exchange views on current developments in the European Union, the Western Balkans, and the evolving transatlantic relationship. During the discussion, participants highlighted key challenges facing the region, including structural inequalities, declining accountability, and weakening national and regional cohesion, and exchanged views on the future of transatlantic involvement in the region. The exchange allowed for an open and constructive dialogue in supporting stability, democratic resilience, and Euro-Atlantic integration in the region.
