The future of the global order, transatlantic relations, the role of the “Global South”, and the strategic impact of technology stood at the center of the Aspen Ministers Forum 2026, held in Berlin on February 10-12, 2026, with the support of Aspen Germany.
The Aspen Ministers Forum is a high-level, invitation-only gathering of former foreign ministers, senior government officials, and global thought leaders convened by the Aspen Institute, United States. Designed as a nonpartisan and off-the-record forum, it provides a trusted space for open dialogue on the most pressing geopolitical challenges of the day.
Chaired by former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, the discussions in Berlin focused on the resilience of the global order in the face of intensifying great power competition and regional instability. Participants examined the mounting pressure on multilateral institutions and explored how democratic alliances can remain cohesive while adapting to new geopolitical realities. Core principles – peace, multilateral cooperation, democracy, and the rule of law – framed the debate on how to sustain collective action in a more fragmented international system.
The Aspen Ministers Forum 2026 in Berlin underscored the importance of sustained, values-based dialogue in shaping resilient responses to today’s global challenges.
