Who will be trusted in Europe’s information space ten years from now? Two days, twenty voices, one shared information space. Over two days, our cohort of young journalists, social media influencers and digital content creators from the EU enlargement region debated the new division of labour between newsrooms and digital voices, built scenarios for the decade ahead in three foresight workshops, went behind the scenes at the Bundespresseamt and the Bundestag, and examined what European regulation means for countries expected to transpose it without having negotiated it.
The scenarios developed here will be refined in our follow-up sessions and consolidated into the Connecting Futures Scenario Dossier, to be shared with civil society organisations, media actors, online platforms and policymakers.
