On Wednesday, June 4th at 12:30 p.m. CET, Aspen Institute Germany will host a live conversation in Berlin with Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, on how to protect European institutions and individuals from the world’s most advanced cyber threats. From ransomware groups to state-sponsored attacks, today’s threats demand a strong and coordinated response rooted in trusted public-private partnerships. This discussion will explore the latest developments in the global cybersecurity landscape and highlight successful collaborations between industry and government authorities worldwide. As Microsoft’s security teams continue to monitor influence operations, increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, and espionage campaigns targeting European governments, Brad Smith will unveil a set of new initiatives aimed at strengthening cybersecurity across Europe – in close cooperation with EU institutions and member state governments. The conversation will be moderated by Stormy-Annika Mildner, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Germany. Attendance is by invite only.
