On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, the fifth virtual meeting of the Aspen Institute Germany’s Future Cities Go Glocal project took place. The project participants discussed the previously identified sub-topics for this year’s focus on social justice and participation and identified key aspects. They then worked in small groups in breakout sessions on initial building blocks for policy recommendations and collected concrete ideas and starting points in joint working documents. The results form the basis for the further work of the 2025/2026 cohort.
The project is funded by the German Class Lottery Foundation Berlin.
