On Thursday, November 27, 2025, the Aspen Institute Germany hosted the first virtual meeting of the “Future Cities Go Global” initiative. The project aims to promote exchange between urban actors from Berlin, New Delhi, Nairobi, and Mexico City in order to share best practices, build new networks, and develop policy recommendations for sustainable, inclusive, and future-oriented urban development. At this meeting, the project participants were officially introduced and had the opportunity to exchange personal and professional experiences. The meeting laid the foundation for international cooperation, in which different perspectives will contribute to innovative solutions for issues such as social justice and social participation.
