As part of the “Redefining Power and Responsibility: U.S. Foreign Aid, Global Health Leadership, and the Role of the Private Sector” project, Aspen Germany hosted a working dinner on September 18, 2025 with key representatives and stakeholders from the health sector. They discussed pressing questions related to the United States government’s recent withdrawal of foreign aid and the role of the private sector in strengthening global health and aid services by stepping into leadership positions and championing global collaboration. This project was supported by the Gates Foundation, the Public Private Strategies Institute, and the Aspen Partnership for Inclusive Economies.
