On January 27, the Aspen Institute Germany will host its first Online Workshop in the 2026 German-American Trade and Tech Dialogue cycle. The workshop “From Washington to the World: Transatlantic Priorities for the 2026 G20 Agenda” will focus on how the United States and Europe can shape a forward-looking economic and trade agenda in light of the new transatlantic trade framework and the U.S. G20 presidency in 2026. Central to the discussion will be the current state of trade relations, the strengthening of supply chain resilience, technological and industrial cooperation, and the development of a strategic roadmap for 2026. Bringing together experts from government, industry, academia, and civil society, the workshop aims to identify concrete recommendations for how both sides of the Atlantic can use the G20 platform to enhance policy coordination, advance global economic governance, and promote sustainable and inclusive growth.
