From May 5 to 7, 2025, the Aspen Institute Germany will organize a study trip to Vilnius as part of the 2025 #InfluencersAgainstDisinfo: Empowering Online Opinion Leaders to Enhance Democratic Resilience in the Age of Information Manipulation project. The goal of the project is to bring together influencers and content creators from across Europe, especially from Eastern Europe, to strengthen democratic resilience and promote a value-based dialogue on disinformation. During the trip, participants will have the opportunity to attend thematic workshops and discussions to deepen their understanding of the challenges posed by disinformation, specifically the Baltic online information environment and the current strategies pursued to navigate the issue. A special highlight will be the exchange with politicians, decision-makers, and experts, where best practices in dealing with disinformation will be presented and discussed. This is the first of two study trip planned in the project. The project is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and supported by the Aspen Institutes Central Europe and the Aspen Institute Kyiv. For more information about the project, click here.
