On Tuesday, March 18th, 2025, the seventh digital meeting of this year’s Laboratories of Democracy Initiative will take place. The meeting takes place two weeks after the first delegation trip to Dresden and focuses on the development of subnational policy recommendations for the three subtopics of social inclusion, civic and political participation and social mobility. The goal of the Laboratories of Democracy Initiative is to promote values-based dialogue and exchange of ideas on common political challenges at the subnational level. At the same time, the exchange promotes peer learning and helps to build transatlantic networks beyond the capital cities.
The project is supported by the Transatlantic Program of the Federal Republic of Germany, funded by the European Recovery Program (ERP) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
