Recent events at the Munich Security Conference highlighted the evolving nature of Europe’s relationship with the United States. Intensive discussions on the future of Ukraine and European security took place against the backdrop of new domestic and foreign policy priorities in Washington, as well as a fractious transatlantic relationship. In this roundtable discussion with Paul Horvath, Chief Executive Officer of Orchard Global, Treasurer of the American Friends of the Munich Security Conference, and an active figure in Republican politics, we will explore the shifting state of transatlantic relations. We will also discuss recent developments in Washington’s domestic and foreign policies, along with insights into the Republican strategic approach and vision for Europe and transatlantic ties.
