    • September 11, 2025

On Thursday, September 11, the roundtable discussion “Insights from Washington” with special guest, Woodward “Clark” Price, took place in our office at Friedrichstraße 60.
Clark Price, who is currently based in Washington, previously served as the U.S. Chargée d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin from Juli 2021 to February 2022 and again in July 2024. He also served as part of the Berlin diplomatic mission in the capacity of Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs from 2016 to 2019. During his long diplomatic career, he also served as Deputy Chief of Mission in Yerevan, Armenia and was posted in Athens (Economic Counselor), Tel Aviv (Deputy Economic Counselor), Nicosia and New Delhi.
Clark shared his perspective on current developments in Washington D.C. under the Trump administration and how these developments are impacting the transatlantic relationship. With his background in building bridges between Berlin and Washington, the talk provided a unique perspective on the future role of the United States in Europe.
