On Tuesday, November 11, Florida State Legislators joined a roundtable as part of the Subnational Aerospace and Defense Dialogue, a delegation trip organized in cooperation with the Federal Foreign Office and the German General Consulate Miami to explore innovation and high-tech clusters in Berlin and Munich. The roundtable offered interesting perspectives by the German aerospace industry, including representatives from German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI), OHB SE, Airbus Defence and Space, AneCom Aerotest GmbH, and DIN. Discussions centered on supply-chain resilience, emerging DefenseTech, German rearmament, regulatory burdens, and transatlantic cooperation. It offered candid insights into how policy makers and the aerospace industry can jointly drive competitiveness and innovation across both sides of the Atlantic.
