Save the Date – Aspen Germany Summer Reception 2025
On May 30, 2024, the Aspen Institute Germany and the Association of Friends of the Aspen Institute hosted our annual Summer Reception on the occasion of the annual general meeting of the Association of Friends of the Aspen Institute Germany. Esteemed guests were Dr. Anton Hofreiter, Member of Bundestag and Chair of the Committee on European Affairs, and Dr. Linn Selle, President of the European Movement Germany. Together, we delved into the pressing issue of today’s challenges to the EU with topics such as climate transformation, Russia’s war against Ukraine, the EU enlargement process, institutional blockades, migration, democratic backsliding and social division within member states. As is tradition, the discussion was followed by a summer reception in the courtyard of the Mendelssohn-Remise.
This year, in 2025, Aspen Germany is happy to announce that the Summer Reception will take place on 12 June. We are very happy to be able to organize such an important event again. We will celebrate the ongoing support and fantastic initiatives that the Aspen Germany community has continuously launched. We are welcoming all Aspen Germany supporters at the beautiful Mendelssohn Remise. The event will be accompanied by interesting speakers in order to dive into current political affairs. We are already looking forward to this joyful celebration!
