Raisina Dialogue 2026

At a time of rapidly changing geopolitical and geoeconomic dynamics, international dialogue across regions and perspectives is becoming increasingly important. Strategic competition has intensified, economic interdependence is increasingly viewed through the lens of security, and many of the assumptions that shaped globalization in recent decades are being reassessed.

Against this backdrop, Aspen Germany participated in the Raisina Dialogue 2026 in New Delhi, one of the leading global forums dedicated to discussions on geopolitics, geoeconomics, and international cooperation. The conference is hosted annually by the Observer Research Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs of India and brings together policy makers, experts, and business leaders from around the world.

Representing Aspen Germany, Executive Director Stormy-Annika Mildner attended the conference and contributed to discussions on the evolving global political and economic landscape. During the dialogue, she participated in panels focusing on economic security and the future of international markets, addressing how geopolitical tensions, shifting supply chains, and new forms of economic statecraft are reshaping global economic relations.

The Raisina Dialogue also provided an important opportunity to step outside the European and transatlantic policy context and engage with perspectives from across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Key discussions during the conference addressed the evolving role of the BRICS, Russia–India relations, and the shifting political and economic dynamics in the Middle East. These conversations highlighted how global developments are perceived differently across regions and underscored the importance of engaging with a broad range of perspectives.

Participation in international forums such as the Raisina Dialogue forms an important part of Aspen Germany’s mission to foster international exchange and dialogue. At a time of growing geopolitical tensions and increasing economic fragmentation, such platforms help facilitate discussions across regions and contribute to a better understanding of the changing global order.
