The Aspen Institute Germany regularly organizes “Digital Dishes” in cooperation with Telefónica Germany that feature provocative thinkers for an intimate, off-the-record lunch or dinner in Berlin to discuss an issue related to the most pressing tech policy debates. The Dish Dish Series brings together a mix of frontier thinkers on tech policy and specialists focusing on the U.S.-European relationship. As such, the event series addresses trends, frictions, and successes in the transatlantic tech policy space and contextualizes issues in the broader U.S.-European relationship. Previous events have focused on, among other topics, transatlantic digital policy and approaches to authoritarian regimes, the future of EU-China tech relations, the future of European, transatlantic, and international cybersecurity, and the digital policy priorities of the German G7 presidency in 2022.
