Association of Friends of the Aspen Institute

The “Verein der Freunde des Aspen Instituts e.V.” (Association of Friends of the Aspen Institute) was founded in 1989 to support the work of the Aspen Institute Germany. Its founders and members are representatives of business, academia, politics, diplomacy, and culture. The membership contributions represent one of the Institute’s largest sources of funding and allow the Aspen staff to serve the Institute’s mission independently and in a nonpartisan manner.
An Aspen membership offers the opportunity to participate in the Institute’s Public Program as well as in selected Policy Program events such as the annual Berlin Transatlantic Forum and the Aspen Berlin Artificial Intelligence Conference. The events range from conferences to evening events in an exclusive atmosphere to off-the-record conversations. They serve as a forum for open discourse and exchange between decision-makers and a broader audience of interested individuals who wish to discuss fresh ideas and look at issues from new perspectives. Aspen members can engage in expert conversions on the world’s most pressing issues and, at the same time, enjoy unique networking opportunities.
Join the “Verein der Freunde des Aspen Instituts.” Find more information on the Aspen membership below or contact us with any further questions you might have.
