International Press Roundtable

The media exudes significant influence on the information and the public opinion forming, and consequently on international politics. Recognizing the influence and knowledge media representatives hold, the Public Program frequently hosts International Press Roundtables. The event format features a discussion between four to five representatives of the international media landscape who evaluate topical events from a journalistic perspective. Previously, these International Press Roundtables covered US Presidential and Congressional elections, the G7, NATO & EU-US Summits, the German Bundestagswahl, presidential elections in France, the development of the war in Ukraine or the German reaction to the war between Israel and Hamas. The International Press Roundtables are held twice a year.
