On July 6, 2017, the Aspen Institute Germany hosted an exclusive ‘Kennedy Breakfast’ with the Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti at Schöneberg’s city hall. In a conversation with Annette Riedel, Senior Editor at Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Mayor Garcetti discussed the role of mayors on the national and international level, the importance of the digital and creative sectors for his city, and the pioneering role cities play in preventing climate change and fostering sustainability.
