Aspen Germany, in cooperation with Google, hosted an exclusive breakfast discussion on generative AI, Google Bard, and the future of AI governance on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
The past year has shown the amazing impact that generative AI, like Google Bard or ChatGPT, can have on our societies. But as this type of artificial intelligence becomes more popular, additional questions are being raised. An exclusive round of invited guests from business, civil society, policymaking, and academia discussed questions such as: Where is this technology today, and what can we expect in the near future? How does generative AI impact the future of work? What kind of regulation is needed to ensure that AI works for humanity and aligns with democratic values? Are the risks that generative AI present to society being adequately addressed?
Jack Krawczyk is Senior Director of Product Management and is responsible for the development, experience, and growth of Google Bard globally. Previously, Jack led product development for Google Assistant across devices: mobile, wearables, home, and automotive. Prior to Google, he was the VP of Product Management at WeWork, Head of Product at UnitedMasters, and VP of Product at Pandora. Jack earned a BS Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
This was a closed event and held under Chatham House Rules.
