Just like the last years, the “Verein der Freunde des Aspen Instituts” met prior to the summer party on June 12, 2017, to hold its annual assembly in the Mendelssohn Remise in Berlin. The board presented their activity and financial reports and assessed that the year 2016 and its events had been a great success. Moreover, Arno Heuermann, Helmut Kranzmaier, and Jan Losemann were reelected for three more years on the Board of the “Verein der Freunde.”
