Bundestag and Congress Staffers Exchange Program

For the fourth time, the Aspen Institute Germany invites 20 Staffers from US Congress and German Bundestag to participate in two one-week programs in Berlin and in Washington D.C. After the first part of the Bundestag and Congress Staffers Exchange Program in Berlin, the participants focused on the topics digitalization and trade in Washington, D.C. The Program included opportunities for informal exchange and networking as well as an alumni event with former participants from the United States. In addition to roundtable discussions, the participants had the opportunity to visit the July 4th Parade and enjoyed a fireworks cruise as well a tour of the Capitol including its dome. The Program is supported by the Transatlantic Program of the Federal Republic of Germany with funds from the European Recovery Program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. This program was made possible by a grant from the Federal Ministry for Economy and Energy (BMWi).
