On June 24, 2019, the Aspen Institute Germany hosted an exclusive dinner with the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Stevo Pendarovski, and his delegation at the China Club in Berlin. The dinner, on the occasion of the inaugural visit of the newly elected President of the Republic of North Macedonia, offered the opportunity for an open exchange in a small, exclusive setting with members of the German Bundestag, and government, journalists, and experts. The following discussion focused on the EU integration process and NATO membership of the Republic of North Macedonia, recent political developments in the country, the region, as well as in the EU.
