On March 20th, 2023, Aspen Germany hosted an exclusive discussion with Dr. Benedikt Franke, Vice-Chairman, Chief Executive Officer at the Munich Security Conference about the topic “Behind the Scenes of the Munich Security Conference” at the China Club Berlin. In a discussion with Dr. Stormy-Annika Mildner, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Germany, Dr. Franke shared his assessment of this year’s MSC and discussed the security challenges in the sign of the Zeitenwende, as well as gave the exclusive audience a look behind the scenes of what it is like to organize such a large, high-level conference.
