On December 3, 2018, the Aspen Institute Germany hosted an exclusive discussion with H.E. Jeremy Issacharoff, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Germany, on the topic “Iran and War Games in the Middle East: An Israeli Perspective.” In a discussion with Rüdiger Lentz, Executive Director at the Aspen Institute Germany, H.E. Jeremy Issacharoff shared his thoughts on the current situation in the Middle East and Israel. The discussion first addressed the geostrategic situation and the relations and conflicts between the countries in the region as well as the influence of other international players in the area. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the German-Israeli relationship, and the German perception of Israel were addressed as well. At the end of the discussion, participants were able to ask the ambassador further questions.
