On April 18, 2018, the Aspen Institute Germany in cooperation with the members of the “Verein der Freunde des Aspen Instituts” Britt Eckelmann, Heike Fölster, Ulrich Plett, and Christine Wolff, and the Hanse Lounge hosted a first Public Program event in Hamburg on the topic of corporate political responsibility (CPR). In a discussion with Rüdiger Lentz, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Germany, Dr. Johannes Bohnen, Managing Partner at BOHNEN Public Affairs, presented his concept on corporate political responsibility and explained how corporations can use it to strengthen their business. It was primarily discussed to what extent corporations should think and act more politically and how this affects their business.
