On April 30, 2024, Aspen Germany and Union Investment joined forces to host an exclusive discussion with Omid Nouripour, co-leader of Alliance 90/Die Grünen, at the location of Union Investment in Frankfurt am Main. In conversation with Dr. Stormy-Annika Mildner, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Germany, Mr. Nouripour provided insights into his career. Moreover, he shared with us his assessment of the challenges and potentials of sustainable investments and the cooperation between actors from the political and cooperate sectors. As former Greens Spokesman for security policy, he provided insights into the connection between the socioecological transformation and security issues. After the discussion, the audience had the opportunity to pose questions, followed by a get-together with drinks and food.
