On April 29, 2024, a seventh digital workshop for participants of the second cohort of the project “U.S.-German Forum Future Agriculture” will take place in order to discuss the bilateral transatlantic agriculture relationship. Participants will be joined by external experts to facilitate discussion. The forum brings together eight German and U.S. farmers and other agricultural stakeholders to promote innovative solutions for a sustainable future for agriculture and rural areas. The project also aims to strengthen the transatlantic relationship through collaborative exchanges in rural areas and the agricultural sector as a whole. The second cohort involves participants working in the beef and dairy sector in northern Germany and the U.S. East Coast. The project is supported by the Transatlantic Program of the Federal Republic of Germany with funds from the European Recovery Program (ERP) of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).
