Saving species in arable farming? The path to sustainable agriculture. This is the question we asked on March 16th, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. in the 7th edition of our discussion series “The Future of Food and Farming”, with interactive formats, exciting guests and a casual exchange over drinks and finger food. The event started at 16:30 with a keynote speech by David Spencer (RWTH Aachen and author of “Alles bio-logisch?!”). This was followed at 5:00 p.m. by a panel discussion with, among others: Dr. Bettina Hoffmann, MdB (Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection) and David Spencer (RWTH Aachen). The discussion was moderated by Heike Zeller. The event took place at Quartier Zukunft (Friedrichstraße 181, 10117 Berlin) and via Live Stream, organized together by the Aspen Institute Germany, Berlin Dialogue and the Center for Liberal Modernity. It was supported by Microsoft, DLG e.v. and Bayer Cropscience.
