On July 20, 2023, German and United States parliamentarians met again virtually as part of the Laboratories of Democracy Initiative to further develop their policy recommendations for transatlantic cooperation on structural change and the revitalization of post-industrial spaces. Based on the progress made so far and the intense discussions during the previous virtual and in-person meetings, key recommendations were developed to collectively shape the transatlantic cooperation of the future!
The project is supported by the Transatlantic Program of the Federal Republic of Germany, funded by the European Recovery Program (ERP) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
