On May 27, 2020, the German Eastern Business Association supported by the Aspen Institute Germany hosted an online expert discussion about the current economic situation in North Macedonia. Dr. Blagica Petreski, Chief Economist and CEO of Finance Think, and Marjan Nikolov, President of the Center for Economic Analysis, discussed the current government measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the following economic crisis, the role of the skills shortage and the strengthening of the economy after the crisis. The upcoming elections and the current political situation as well as the investment climate were also discussed.
