On May 23, 2023, the Aspen Institute Germany and the Association of Friends of the Aspen Institute hosted our annual Summer Party.
This year we were joined by Dr. Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, Member of the German Parliament and Chair of the Defense Committee, and Prof. Dr. Carlo Masala, Professor of International Politics, Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, University of the Bundeswehr Munich, to discuss what has become of the “Zeitenwende” in foreign and security policy in Germany and Europe more than one year after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
As is tradition, the event was concluded with a summer reception in the courtyard of the Mendelssohn-Remise.
