At the Spring Meeting of the Youth Officers 2017 in Strausberg Tyson Barker, Program Director Digital of the Aspen Institute Germany started off the Transatlantic Panel on March 27 with Julia Obermeier, MP (CSU), Christian Thiels, Managing Editor of Tagesthemen and Defence Expert at Tagesschau, and Dr. Tobias Bunde, Head of Policy and Analysis at the Munich Security Conference, Research Associate at the Centre for International Security Policy, Hertie School of Governance. The panel was presented by Thorsten Freers, Senior Program Officer Transatlantic Programs.
