In November 2023, a select delegation of U.S. agricultural practitioners and other important stakeholders in the field will visit with policymakers, research and industry organizations, and practitioners in the Berlin-Brandenburg region to deepen exchange on agriculture between both countries. During the visit, the U.S. representatives will have the opportunity to engage in mutual dialogue with German representatives in Berlin and Brandenburg. The tour will be combined with a visit to the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural technology, the Agritechnica 2023, in Hannover.
The “Transatlantic Agriculture Dialogue Tour” is a strategic dialogue format on agriculture that brings U.S. agricultural stakeholders to Germany to provide new ideas for the national discourses of both countries. Strengthening the mutual transatlantic understanding as well as fostering knowledge transfer in and around agriculture will be key for the project.
