America’s Choice: Strategy and Tactics – A Look at the Trump and Biden Campaign

    • July 22, 2020

There are just over 100 days left until the US elections on November 3. The campaign teams behind President Donald Trump and Joe Biden are working on the best strategies to reach the public in times of COVID-19 and win over undecided voters. What are the strategies of the Trump and Biden campaigns and how effective are they? What aspects and topics are emphasized in the election campaigns? What communication channels do President Trump and Joe Biden use to reach the American public? What influence does the pandemic have on the two candidates’ communication strategies? How are the campaigns financed? In a conversation with Tyson Barker, Deputy Executive Director and Fellow at the Aspen Institute Germany, Constance Chucholowski, political communications consultant and director at the Berlin office of 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice, and Julius van de Laar, political strategist, communications consultant and expert in digital media, address these and other questions in the newest episode of America’s Choice.
