How can agriculture adapt to changing conditions, while also protecting the climate itself? How can we create sustainable, future-proof food systems? We discussed these questions on June 21st, 2023, at the 8th edition of the discussion series “The Future of Food and Farming.”
Under the title “Klima wandelt Landwirtschaft – Herausforderung und Chance” the event addressed how to protect the environment through sustainable global food systems. The event began at 16:30 with a Keynote Speech by Prof. Dr. Harald Grethe, Director of Agora Agrar, followed by a Panel Discussion at 17:00 with leading experts and decision makers from Academia, Politics, and Industry, moderated by Heike Zeller.
The event was organized cooperatively by Aspen Institute Germany, Berlin Dialogue, and the Center for Liberal Modernity. It was supported by Microsoft, DLG e.v. and Bayer Cropscience.
