How do we use our resources as ecologically as possible while feeding a steadily growing world population? What influence does German agriculture have in a global context? And what responsibility do we have as consumers? Agriculture is one of the world’s largest and most important industries and the debate around it is more controversial, ideological and charged than ever.
That is why the Aspen Institute Germany, BerlinDialogue and the Center for Liberal Modernity invite you to a panel discussion with MdB Anne Monika Spallek (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen), Dr. Klaus Kunz (Bayer CropScience), Dr. Martin Frick (World Food Programme), Dr. Michael Büntrup (German Development Institute) on November 23 at 3:30 pm at the MCA Studios in Leipzig via Livestream. The event will be moderated by Annette Riedel (Deutschlandfunk). We want to find solutions together for one of the defining questions of our time. The panel discussion is part of the event series The Future of Food & Farming.
