Memberships

The “Verein der Freunde” is characterized by a familiar yet exclusive atmosphere. Friends of Aspen Germany enjoy intimate events and special occasions such as the summer party, the Transatlantic Conference, and the public portion of our Southeast Europe Foreign Ministers’ conferences. In addition to being intellectually stimulating, these events offer a unique networking opportunity.

All members receive the associations’ newsletter “Aspen Inside” three times a year, in which new members are introduced, upcoming events are announced, and past ones reviewed. Aspen publications, such as the annual report and official conference papers, can be ordered from the Institute for free.

Individual Members support the Aspen Institute Germany with €500 ($680) per annum. They receive personal and non-transferable invitations to Aspen events. Individuals up to the age of 35 may become Junior Members at the special annual rate of €250 ($340) per year.

In addition to the benefits Individual Members enjoy, Corporate Members donating €3,000 ($4,100) or more annually may send two representatives to all of the events listed above. Furthermore, they are invited to an annual exclusive corporate member lunch with high-level keynote speakers as well as to select special occasions.

Individual and Corporate Members receive a 10% (€320) discount at the German Aspen Leadership Seminar. Corporate Members may send one representative per seminar at the reduced fee while private members may use this benefit once. If you decide to become an Individual or Corporate Member within six months of your seminar participation, your first annual contribution will automatically be reduced by €320.
